Are you trying to do business internationally but struggling with the business terminology used in other countries? There’s help on the way.
The International Business Law Consortium, a Salzburg, Austria, based organization made up of law and accounting firms in 80 countries, is planning to publish a reference guide that will translate corporate symbols and other indicia which appear in the names of corporations and businesses worldwide. The work also will include terms often used in business documents and discussions internationally.
Two lawyers with Pittsburgh law firm Hull McGuire, Dan Hull and Elisa Recht Marlin, are serving as general editors of the book.
The initial publication will include information about 32 countries and jurisdictions.
The book, tentatively titled “IBLC Business Entity Reference Book,” will be available in January.
