When it comes to face-to-face, business-to-business relationships, The Business Show should provide a grand opportunity for buyers and sellers from local businesses.
Slated for May 17-18 at the Greater Pittsburgh Expo Mart, this business-to-business trade show already has attracted close to 140 booths and is expected to attract upwards of 5,000 attendees, according to Susan Kundla, event coordinator for the show. The show runs from noon to 7 p.m. on both days and runs concurrently with the INPEX trade show for inventors from around the world who want to showcase their inventions.
As part of the festivities, Weight Watcher persona Florine Mark will talk about her efforts to build an internationally-taught weight control program that ultimately grew into a successful business. She will be at the show May 17 between 5 and 7 p.m. In addition, time management and organizational motivation company Franklin Covey is sending a representative to present two complimentary seminars at the show, entitled “Building Trust: The Key to High Performance” and “Managing Personal Change.” The seminars are scheduled for May 17.
“We’re trying to promote business in the Pittsburgh region,” says Kundla, “and we’re concentrating more on bringing buyers and sellers together. We’re very excited to give people the opportunity to make a first impression.”
