Solving a problem

When Jeremy Samide was just 7 years old, he and his brother set up a lemonade stand in front of their Westlake home. He saw a good opportunity to deliver a good product at a good price, and since then, his entrepreneurial spirit and founding principles have never wavered.

Flash forward a few years, and Samide co-founded E-merging Technologies Group Inc. as the result of negative experiences and issues he and his co-founder had experienced in previous roles. The founders of the company — a professional services firm specializing in intelligence, counterintelligence, information security and security operations support — believed that the ownership and structure of professional service organizations needed to be re-engineered. For years, the consulting profession had been troubled by technical consultant turnover, and as a result, it had become increasingly difficult to staff long-term client engagements with the original starting project team.

This problem was mostly felt by the client, who was then forced to pay professional fees for staff consultants who sought employment elsewhere in the middle of a project.

The founders believed that if they could create a professional service firm that could attract and retain the best and the brightest, they could command the consulting marketplace, so they created an employee-empowered culture to accomplish their goal.

Today, Samide and his team serve a range of clients, from the largest U.S. government customers to Fortune 50 clients around the world. As CEO, Samide has led E-merging Technologies Group through steady revenue growth, and for the past two years, it has been named one of the fastest-growing companies in North America by Inc.

As he looks toward the future, Samide wants to continue to invest in the right opportunities, drive client satisfaction through continued performance, focus on employee excellence, continue developing diverse solutions across each business unit and expand the company’s presence in the federal space and private sector markets. With a reputation for attracting skilled professionals, Samide has no doubt that E-merging Technologies will continue to outperform the competition.
