Seek first to understand then to be understood
George Hohman, the owner of a well-respected Maintenance & Snow Removal Company called Turfscape, shared at a recent Customers Service Training session that I was conducting for his team what he learned from Stephen Covey from the “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.”
Habit Five is “Seek first to understand then to be understood.” That should be our first objective when we are in any conversation. Thank you for that reminder, George.
