SanuWave Inc. named Christopher M. Cashman CEO. He brings 14 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Richardson II, chairman of the company and managing partner of Prides Capital Partners LLC, SanuWave’s majority owner. “We look forward to working with Chris as he taps his extensive expertise to lead the company.”
Cashman most recently worked as president of Therapeutic Surfaces for Kinetic Concepts Inc. Prior to that, he conducted a management buyout in 2001 of Snowden Pencer and assumed the role of CEO and president. In 2004, that company was sold to Cardinal Health. He has also worked as a business unit head with Genzyme Biosurgery and held sales and marketing positions with Genzyme Surgical Products and Deknatel Snowden Pencer.
“I’m excited to be joining SanuWave at a time when Shockwave technology looks so promising in orthopedics, and I look forward to working with this leading technology as we uncover how it may be beneficial in other medical areas,” Cashman says.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and served on a fast attack submarine as a supply officer. He also earned an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
ECLIPSYS CORP.
Eclipsys Corp.appointed Jay Deady executive vice president of customer solutions.
He has more than 15 years of experience in corporate development, field marketing and clinical sales support. He also is experienced in health care information technology implementations, sales and sales management.
Prior to joining Eclipsys, Deady was vice president and general manager, revenue cycle solutions, at McKesson.
WORLDSPAN
Worldspan appointed Andrew Cuomo vice president, account management. He is responsible for managing all sales and service programs of the company’s key customers and major global accounts.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry. Before joining Worldspan, Cuomo was a consultant to several of the United States’ largest traditional travel packagers and distributors.
THE COCA-COLA CO.
The Coca-Cola Co. named Tom Mattia director to lead worldwide public affairs and communications.
He has 35 years of experience in public affairs and communications. He joins the company from EDS, where he had worked as vice president of global communications since 2000.
PER-SE TECHNOLOGIES
Per-Se technologies has made several management changes following the completion of its acquisition of NDCHealth Corp.
Chris Perkins was named to the newly created position of chief operating officer. He previously worked as chief financial officer and executive vice president of Per-Se since 2001.
G. Scott MacKenzie was named president, pharmacy solutions. He was previously executive vice president and general manager for NDCHealth’s pharmacy operations.
Patrick J. Leonard takes over as president, physical solutions. He was previously president of specialty operations.
The company also named Philip Jordan chief of product strategy. He was formerly president of Per-Se’s hospital services division.
David F. Mason assumes the role of president, hospital solutions,revenue cycle management. He was previously president of academic and multispecialty operations for Integra Solutions.
Karl E. Staub was named senior vice president and general manager, hospital solution, resource management.
Steven M. Kilguss was named senior vice president and general manager, physician practice management (PPM) solutions. He was previously vice president and general manager of NDCHealth’s PPM operations.

Bruce Parker was appointed to a three-year term on the international board of directors of LIMRA.
Parker is president of Old Mutual Financial Network. He joined the company in 2003 as senior vice president and chief marketing officer and was appointed president shortly after.

AGCO Corp. appointed Robert B. Crain senior vice president and general manager, North America.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry. He was previously with Case New Holland Global N.V. as vice president for New Holland North America Agricultural Business.
SALUMEDICA LLC
SaluMedica LLC named Lew Bennett and Larry W. Papasan to its board of managers.
Papasan joins the board after 11 years as president of Smith & Nephew Orthopedics, followed by service as director for the same company.
Bennett has 45 years of experience in the medical industry, including senior executive positions with top orthopedic companies including NuVasive, Sofamor Danek and Smith & Nephew.

She is a member of the Atlanta City Council. She is also an associate broker with Keller Williams Realty and a member of the Atlanta and National boards of Realtors.
