Relax, refresh and rejuvenate

Is your business looking a bit tired? Have the stresses and
strains of the marketplace taken their toll on your managers? Is
employee morale drooping along with the bottom line? If so, you
may want to treat your business to a visit to the spa.

The first step is to clean the exterior. Soaking in rare minerals or volcanic hot springs while wrapped in seaweed may do wonders for the
skin, but some soap, water and plenty of elbow grease will remove the
grit and grime from your business. Pay special attention to collecting
paper, leaves and other detritus that have accumulated during the
winter months.

The second step is to restore the inner beauty. Aromatherapy, vegan
fruit plates and cleansing waters may help flush away impurities from
the body, but a little spring cleaning will work wonders around your
business, as well. Don’t stop with the stairwells and broom closets. Go
crazy on all the junk in your desk drawers and clear the cobwebs from
your mind, as well. Make room for new ideas and innovations.

The third step is the deep massage. Strong hands are needed for the
most effective treatment, and you’re just the person to apply them.
Tired and aching feet respond to a little TLC, and so will your business’s tired and aching foot soldiers. Find some way to reward them
for supporting your endeavors throughout the past year. Remember
that without them, you wouldn’t have a foot — er, leg — to stand on.

The fourth step is to refresh your look. Hair, makeup, a manicure
and pedicure all help create an enticing presence. So does a little paint
on the loading dock or new carpet in the office. First impressions are
lasting impressions, so don’t underestimate or underspend. Use this
opportunity to enhance and elevate your customers’ experience.

The International Spa Association reports that more than 110 million Americans visit spas each year, generating revenue of more than
$9.4 billion in the U.S. alone. The trend is clear, and Metro Lexus has
responded by creating a spa of its own.

We took that old adage, “to be a success, you must invest,” to heart,
electing to spend $1.3 million to build more than a mere car wash.
We’ve devoted ourselves to a new way of pampering our customers
and their cars through the 8,400-square-foot Metro Lexus Auto Spa.
We think the investment was worth it, judging by the brilliant shine on
the freshly washed paint and the added sparkle to our customers’
smiles.

Please accept my invitation to visit our dealership and sample our
hospitality with a complimentary spa treatment. Just hand the attendant the mailing label from this issue of Smart Business Cleveland,
and we promise to treat you and your vehicle to the very best.
