The first is communication

effectively. The other ones are
kindness and being respectful.
The fourth is being supportive and the fifth is having a positive attitude. Those five things
end up creating cohesion with
the team. Communication and
gratitude filter to the top. When
people are expressing gratitude
with each other, it fosters that
environment.
Continually focus on what
these successful behaviors look
like in their teams. Keep their
eye on what success looks like.
The merits of cohesion are only
realized if the team is focused
on and delivers results.
Make sure that leadership is
shared, as opposed to it being
focused on just one clear
leader. Rotate who runs the
meeting. This helps team members stay engaged and builds
empathy for when others are
running a meeting.

There are better results.
Teams always seem to make
better decisions than individuals; there’s a certain synergy. I
call it ‘the miracle of teams.’
There’s just something about
the synergy and the impact of
people getting together and
having a common goal and
holding each other accountable.
