Sales Tip 332
Organize and then prioritize
Many of you may recall that in the late 1970s I was a manager for JB Robinson Jewelers — becoming the training director for more than 95 locations across the country.
During my time at JB Robinson Jewelers, Larry Robinson taught us the importance of being a “Nettle Grasper.” A nettle, for those of you who don’t know, is a leaf that is prickly to the touch. To Larry, being a Nettle Grasper meant getting the most uncomfortable tasks done first, as they are often the most important.
When organizing your day today, don’t forget to be a Nettle Grasper and prioritize after you organize.
