Stonefly Communications Group, an advertising agency launched in June 2004, named Tina Fascetti senior vice president, worldwide creative director.

Fascetti oversees the creative department and is responsible for establishing the agency’s creative vision and providing strategic direction on all creative work.

She brings more than 16 years of experience in health care advertising and agency management, with expertise in therapeutic areas including respiratory, dermatology, cardiovascular, central nervous system and women’s health and diagnostics. In addition to her health care background, she brings consumer advertising experience in publishing, direct marketing, education, cosmetics, retail and finance.

Fascetti joins Stonefly Communications Group from GSW Worldwide, Stonefly’s sister agency, where she served as senior vice president, group creative director for accounts that include Raptiva, Renagel, Genzyme Genetics and Roche Molecular Diagnostics. Prior to GSW Worldwide, she was vice president, associate creative director at Sudler & Hennessey, where she was instrumental in the success of several new product launches and new business opportunities for products including Zomig, Amevive, Proscar, Sony Medical Systems and the Essure Contraceptive Insert.

WENDY’S INTERNATIONAL INC.

Wendy’s International Inc. named Ian B. Rowden executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the Wendy’s brand.

Rowden formerly led global marketing and advertising at two of the most recognized consumer brands in the world, Callaway Golf Co. and The Coca-Cola Co.

He will oversee all of Wendy’s brand marketing strategies and initiatives, and will manage Wendy’s advertising, research, product marketing and field marketing functions. Rowden will report to Wendy’s North America President and COO Tom Mueller.

“Ian is a dynamic executive who has successfully led marketing and advertising for highly respected global brands,” says Mueller. “He will be an immediate contributor to our team with his extensive marketing experience and strategic focus on innovation, sales growth and profits.”

Most recently, Rowden was executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Callaway Golf. He led global marketing, brand stewardship, product development and subsidiary business initiatives in 68 countries.

INSURANCE FIRST AGENCY INC.

Insurance First Agency Inc., a full-service, independent agency representing many highly rated insurance companies, appointed Kimberly Blythe director of personal lines operations.

Blythe is responsible for quoting and issuing business, addressing customer service issues and acting as the liaison between Insurance First Agency and its many insurance carriers. Insurance First Agency is a member of the Title First family of companies.

Blythe joins Insurance First with more than 10 years of insurance industry experience. Previously, she worked for Nationwide Insurance Co. as an underwriting support technician, a life underwriter and, most recently, as a regional internal manager. She was responsible for educating agents on sales concepts, target marketing and assisting agents with problem cases. Prior to Nationwide, Blythe served as a property and casualty underwriter for State Auto Insurance Co.

DASCENZO CREATIVE INC.

Dascenzo Creative Inc., a marketing and public relations agency, appointed Chuck Arida as its first marketing director.

Before joining Dascenzo Creative, Arida launched the San Francisco office of KLM Creative Inc., a marketing agency that serves mostly high-tech clients, including Sun Microsystems and IBM. From 1999 to 2004, he served as director of, and then partner in, KLM, San Francisco. Under his leadership, the west coast operation became the agency’s national headquarters and profit center. Arida presided over a staff of seven and generated annual revenue in excess of $2 million.

At Dascenzo Creative Inc., Arida will lead the design and production of marketing campaigns that integrate Web sites, branding and advertising initiatives, as well as print and electronic marketing projects. His clients include Lane Bryant, Columbus State Community College, Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and Madison County Hospital.

REALLIVING

RealLiving, the fifth-largest residential real estate firm in the United States, announced that Sherry Chris, president of Real Living Network Services, will serve as the 2005 chairperson of The Realty Alliance, one of the nation’s leading consortiums of real estate brokers. Chris is the organization’s first female chairperson.

Chris was elected to the position by colleagues and peers in the Realty Alliance, who vote annually to elect a new chairperson to lead the organization’s development. Peter Helie of Prudential Connecticut Realty will serve as vice chairman, Charles McKee will continue to serve as president and CEO and Harold Crye of Crye-LeikeRealtors will serve as secretary/treasurer. Chris will continue in her role as president of Real Living Network Services.
