Performance Assessment Network Inc., an online assessment and talent management company, hired Jeff Dahltorp as vice president of global marketing and strategic alliances.
Previously, Dahltorp worked as director of marketing and strategic partnerships for TruStar Solutions and as an internal marketing consultant and business development professional for NiSource.
Dahltorp has Fortune 500 and mid-sized business experience in marketing, sales and consulting and in creating and managing strategic partnerships. In his new role with pan, he will oversee key strategic partnerships and supplier relationships, global marketing and marketing liaison with pan technology and sales divisions.
Dahltorp is an expert in the fields of Internet recruiting and human resource outsourcing, frequently contributing to notable industry publications such as HR.com, Electronic Recruiting Exchange, Recruiter Magazine, RecruitersNetwork.com, and international publications Online Recruitment Magazine and RecruitersCafe.com. He has been a featured speaker at industry tradeshows and conferences including IHRIM, National Restaurant Association, International Mass Retail Association and many regional Society for Human Resource Management events.

Conseco Inc. named Russell M. Bostick executive vice president and chief information officer.

Bostick is responsible for IT on an enterprisewide basis. Bostick joins Conseco from Chase Insurance, the insurance arm of J.P. Morgan Chase, where he was chief technology officer.

BoseTreacy Assoc. LLC promoted Cresswell “Cress” Hizer to second vice president of the public affairs firm.
Hizer has many years of experience both working as a top government official and representing clients to the public and to government at the federal, state and local levels. He also serves as a leader and spokesperson for agriculture, one of the largest industries in the state, as the CEO of the Agribusiness Council of Indiana. The council, a major client of the association management division of BoseTreacy, represents The Indiana Grain and Feed Association Inc. and The Indiana Plant Food and Agricultural Chemicals Association Inc.
Hizer is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and did graduate work at Indiana University and Penn State. He earned his Certified Association Executive designation in 1998 and is a graduate of the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Development Program (Class 2). He is active in community and industry groups including the American and Indiana Society of Association Executives, Indiana State Fair Commission and the Government Affairs Society of Indiana, and is chairman of the boards of directors and trustee of the Center for Ag Science and Heritage, known as The Barn.

The College Network hired Caryn Smola as director of academic support and Rob Eyler was promoted to regional director.
Smola has nearly 25 years of experience in the education and training field and will manage the advisers who guide students throughout the academic process.
Smola previously was the Lawrence Campus manager for Ivy Tech State College, as well as education and training director for the Indiana and California Credit Union Leagues. She holds a master’s degree from Purdue University.
Eyler manages 25 field representatives in the Midwest. He holds a bachelor of science degree in finance and international business from Indiana University-Kelley School of Business and an executive leadership certificate from Cornell University-Johnson School of Management. Additionally, Eyler has ranked as one of the top sales representatives at The College Network in the past four years.
