AirLiance Materials promoted Roscoe Musselwhite to chief operating officer. Musselwhite continues to report to president and CEO David Sisson, assuming responsibility for all aspects of business operations for the company. Most recently, Musselwhite was AirLiance’s executive vice president.

Musselwhite joined AirLiance’s management team early in the company’s formation as vice president of marketing and sales, and was promoted to executive vice president in 2000. Prior to joining AirLiance, he was vice president of marketing and engineering at Dexter Tool in West Palm Beach, Fla. Musselwhite’s career has also included program management, technical and marketing positions with the Pratt & Whitney division of United Technologies Corp.

Since AirLiance’s formation seven years ago, it has grown to become one of the world’s largest providers of aircraft material and a leading supply chain partner to many of the world’s commercial aircraft operators.

EURO RSCG 4D CHICAGO

Euro RSCG 4D Chicago appointed senior planning and strategy veteran Paula Ausick to the newly created position of senior vice president and director of strategy and planning.

Ausick previously was director of brand equities at Foote Cone & Belding Chicago. Before that, she worked for DDB Needham, where she advocated and practiced a proactive consumer planning approach. Her accounts included Anheuser-Busch, Maybelline, Kraft, SC Johnson, Clorox, General Mills, Household Finance, Rubbermaid and Ramada Inn.

She also served as director of marketing and communications at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she and her group were awarded the 1988 American Marketing Association’s Stuart Henderson Britt Marketing Achievement Award.

PATRON SYSTEMS INC.

Patron Systems Inc. added Richard G. Beggs, John V. Bivona, Theodore V. Fowler and John R. Walter as members of its advisory board. The company . is a provider of proprietary information security solutions, offering homeland security and legislative compliance to corporations, municipalities, counties and states.

CARDEAN LEARNING GROUP

UNext Inc., an online education company, named John Theodore “Ted” Sanders executive chairman. UNext Inc. also changed its name to Cardean Learning Group.

Most recently, Sanders was president of the Education Commission of the States, an interstate compact that conducts research to assist state policymakers in developing education policy. Sanders began his career as a classroom teacher more than 40 years ago and has since served as the United States deputy secretary of education in the first Bush administration, the chief state school officer in Nevada, Illinois and Ohio, and the president of Southern Illinois University. As chairman of Cardean Learning Group, he is responsible for driving the company’s strategic direction and expansion.

RR DONNELLEY & SONS CO.

RR Donnelley & Sons Co. named Glenn R. Richter executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Richter previously held a variety of executive management roles with Sears, Roebuck and Co., including, most recently, executive vice president and chief financial officer, as well as chairman of the board of Sears Canada. He played an important role in the company’s agreement to merge with Kmart.

Prior to joining Sears, Richter held a number of senior financial positions, including chief financial officer at Dade Behring Holdings Inc. He also held finance roles at PepsiCo Inc., and early in his career, worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. He earned a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Wells-Gardner Electronics Corp.’s board of directors extended the contract of Anthony Spier, Wells-Gardner’s chairman and CEO, through 2008.

GRUBB & ELLIS CO.

The board of directors of Grubb & Ellis Co. named Mark E. Rose CEO. Rose joined Grubb & Ellis from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was chief operating officer and chief financial officer of the Americas.

Rose began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle in Washington, D.C., when he joined the company from Metropolitan Realty Advisors, a brokerage and investment firm he founded in 1993. At Jones Lang LaSalle, he was named chief innovation officer in 2000 and chief financial officer of the Americas in 2002. He added his most recent position as chief operating officer of the Americas in 2003.

Rose holds a bachelor’s degree from Queens College of the City University of New York and is a CPA. He is a member of CoreNet, International Council of Shopping Centers and the RealComm Advisory Board. Rose serves on the boards of directors of the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, SiteStuff Inc. and the Chicago Central Area Committee.
