Liggett-Stashower named Stephen J. Veres vice president, finance. In this position, he becomes a member of the company’s executive committee and reports directly to the CEO.
Veres leads the company’s financial strategy, planning, policies and implementation, and maintains relationships with lending institutions, governmental bodies, the financial community and other vendors related to financial matters. He oversees the company’s financial team and has authority to direct budget, audit, valuation, tax, real estate and insurance activities and certain administrative functions for the organization and its subsidiaries.
Liggett-Stashower also elected Veres secretary/treasurer of the corporation and named him to a number of corporate committee assignments.
Veres most recently held the position of vice president, finance, on the executive management team for The Arras Group after 13 years with The Nestle Corp.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in finance and accounting from Lake Erie College. He is a finance committee board member for the American Association of Advertising Agencies, of which Liggett-Stashower is a member, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and coaches for the Aurora recreation department.
CHART INDUSTRIES
Chart Industries appointed Bill Kelly group vice president of sales. Previously, Kelly was national sales manager responsible for sales of industrial products, primarily to the welding distributor customer base. His new position adds sales management responsibility for major gas producers, national distributors and beverage CO2 products.
Kelly has been with Chart Industries since 1999 and became national sales manager in 2002. He played a key role in the rollout of Chart’s Microbulk Solutions program from 1999 to 2002. Previously, Kelly was employed with Air Products & Chemicals Inc. in positions in field sales, inside sales development and onsite gas and air separation plant sales. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Kansas.
THE METROHEALTH SYSTEM
The MetroHealth System named Sarah Stamp vice president of medical operations. Stamp is responsible for the day-to-day medical operations of The MetroHealth System and coordinates care at the medical center, eight community health sites and the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
MetroHealth also named Bradley Raum director of planning and market research.

Ernesto J. Poza joined Sky Bank’s Greater Cleveland regional board of directors, which helps guide the strategic direction for the region. It also identifies local market opportunities, including new locations and niche markets to pursue, oversees quarterly results and provides feedback, assists in business development and evaluates the performance of the regional president.
Poza is a professor for the practice of family business at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, and director of its Partnership with Family Business. He is on the editorial board of the Family Business Review and is a contributing editor of Family Business Magazine.

Yanping Wang joined Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff’s Cleveland office as an associate in the China Group. Wang assists clients in establishing a broad range of business relationships in China. Admitted to practice in both Ohio and China, she brings more than seven years of experience as an attorney in both jurisdictions.
Wang recently co-authored a book, “Law Codes in Dynastic China,” and has written numerous books and articles regarding Chinese commercial law, contracts and property law. She is a frequent speaker on legal translations and various aspects of doing business in China. She received her L.L.B. with honors from the Political Science & Law University of China in Beijing in 1991 and her L.L.M. in civil and commercial law from Renmin University of China in Beijing in 1994. She received her juris doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2000.

The board of directors of Parker Hannifin Corp. elected Tom Williams vice president and president of the Instrumentation Group.
Williams joined Parker Hannifin in 2003 as vice president, operations, for the Hydraulics Group. Prior to that, he held a number of key management positions at General Electric. Williams earned a mechanical engineering degree from Bucknell University and his MBA from Xavier University.
The board of directors also elected Dan Serbin vice president of human resources and a corporate officer of the company.
Serbin joined Parker Hannifin in 1980. Most recently, he was vice president of human resources for the Fluid Connectors Group. Serbin earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in public administration from The Ohio State University, and his juris doctorate degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association.
THE CLEVELAND CLINIC
The Cleveland Clinic named Allison Vidimos, R.PH., M.D., chairman of its Department of Dermatology. She is the first female chairman within the divisions of medicine and surgery at the Clinic. She is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Dermatology.
Since joining the Clinic in 1992, Vidimos has served as a staff physician in the Section of Micrographic Surgery and Oncology in the Department of Dermatology and as program director of the dermatology residency program. She also serves on the committees of numerous professional, academic societies, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology and the International Transplant Skin Cancer Cooperative.
