Brickstream Corp. named Steve Jeffery CEO.
During the last 10 years, Jeffery was CEO of SQL Financials and Clarus, both of which he led to public offerings. Jeffery also led multiple merger/acquisition and divestiture transactions during his tenure with these companies.

Brickstream co-founder Amir Hudda, whom Jeffery replaces as CEO, will continue to be actively involved in the business as chairman, with primary responsibility for long-term company growth initiatives.

Brickstream also appointed Kevin Ashworth vice president of operations. Ashworth is tasked with scaling Brickstream’s services organizations to support rapid market growth, comprising all implementation, customer support and data center operations. Most recently, he was employed with S1 Corp. as vice president of professional services for the Americas.

Jefferson B. Blandford joined Chamberlain Hrdlicka as a shareholder in the firm’s litigation practice, focusing on labor and employment law. Most recently, Blandford was a partner with Ford & Harrison LLP, where he was the lead trial attorney.

Thomas C. Gallagher was elected president and CEO of Genuine Auto Parts. Gallagher has been with the company for 34 years and is only the fourth CEO in its 76-year history. He is active in many civic activities and serves on the board of directors of Oxford Industries Inc. and STI Classic Funds.
VISTASCAPE SECURITY SYSTEMS
VistaScape Security Systems appointed P.J. Lynch executive vice president, overseeing alliances and business development, marketing and professional services. Lynch was most recently vice president at NCR Corp.’s retail systems division. Previously, he was executive vice president of corporate and business development for ADS Financial Services Solutions. Prior to ADS, Lynch held management positions with GTE and Global TeleSystems Group.
COUSINS PROPERTIES INC.
Terence C. Golden resigned from the Cousins Properties Inc. board of directors. Golden, who had served on board since 1996, resigned for personal reasons, and his seat will not be immediately filled. Director Boone A. Knox will replace Golden as chair of the audit committee.
SYSCO CORP.
SYSCO Corp. named Joseph P. Piazza executive vice president of Sysco Food Services of Atlanta LLC. Piazza, who currently serves as senior vice president of sales at Sysco Food Services of South Florida, assumes his new responsibilities effective Oct. 4.
He began his SYSCO career in 1990 as Italian market segment manager at the South Florida operation. He was promoted to director of specialty markets in 1992, then general manager of specialty markets in 1994. The following year, he was named vice president of specialty markets. Piazza progressed to vice president of sales in 1997 and was promoted to his most recent position in 2000.
FATS INC.
FATS Inc. named Greg Ton CFO. Prior to joining FATS, Ton was COO at Benchmark Brands Inc. For nearly 20 years, he held various leadership and managerial positions at Schering-Plough Health Care Products, including the post of vice president of logistics. Ton also served as vice president of finance and senior director/controller.
JBOSS INC.
JBoss Inc. appointed Rob Bearden vice president of sales and marketing. Bearden brings 15 years of experience in worldwide sales and consulting and operations to JBoss. He will oversee sales, pre-sales, marketing and channel strategy as the company ramps up to respond to growing demand from enterprises for its innovative open source software and expert support and services.
Bearden joins JBoss from i2 Technologies, where he served as president of the Americas, overseeing i2’s business in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Mexico. Prior to i2, he served as senior vice president of worldwide sales for Manhattan Associates and spent six years at Oracle Corp. in various executive sales positions.
PEDIATRIC SERVICES OF AMERICA INC.
Edward K. Wissing, chairman of Pediatric Services of America Inc., assumed the role of CEO following the retirement of Joseph D. Sansone, founder and 15-year company veteran. Wissing will serve as CEO until a successor is named.
He has served as chairman of PSAI since 2002. He currently serves as a director for Psychiatric Solutions Inc. and previously served as president and CEO of American HomePatient Inc. In addition, he has twice chaired the Health Industry Distributor’s Association, an international trade association representing medical products distributors.
