Baxter International Inc. named Sarah S. Prichard, M.D., vice president of global medical affairs for the company’s renal business. Prichard oversees all scientific, clinical and medical affairs globally for Baxter’s renal business.
She provides direction on new and emerging trends in management of patients with renal disease, provides input to product development teams in the design of new products, leads the design of clinical trials and works closely with the company’s renal customers and the scientific community worldwide.
Prichard joins Baxter from McGill University and the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. She is a professor of medicine at McGill University and senior physician and director of peritoneal dialysis for the Royal Victoria Hospital. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology’s Dialysis Advisory Committee, Post Graduate Education Committee and Scientific Program Committee. She was president of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) from 2001 through 2004 and is president of the North American Chapter, 2005 ISPD Meeting.
She is on the editorial boards for Peritoneal Dialysis International, the Hong Kong Journal of Nephrology, Journal of the American Society of Nephrology and The International Journal of Artificial Organs and she has served as a member of Baxter’s Scientific Advisory Board since 2002. Prichard serves on the board of trustees and audit committee of Queen’s University as university representative for St. Mary’s Hospital Board and on the governing council of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
Prichard received her medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
POTBELLY SANDWICH WORKS
Potbelly Sandwich Works hired William W. Moreton as president and chief financial officer.
Moreton comes to Potbelly from Wendy’s International Inc. subsidiary Baja Fresh, where he was the CEO. Prior to Baja Fresh, Moreton served as the executive vice president of subsidiary brand management, assisting with the strategy and growth of Wendy’s developing brands.
Previously, he was executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer of Panera Bread Co. and executive vice president and CFO of Quality Dining Inc.
At Potbelly, Moreton is a member of the senior team and has responsibility for finance, accounting, strategic planning, tax, control, purchasing and information technology, and works closely with the management team on driving a controlled growth strategy.
AON HUMAN RESOURCES OUTSOURCING
Steve Lutz joined Aon Human Resources Outsourcing, a division of Aon Consulting, as a senior vice president and its chief sales officer. He will be based in Aon’s Rolling Meadows office.
Lutz oversees all aspects of business development, including maximizing the potential of all qualified leads and assuming primary accountability for closing deals.
He has been responsible for the sale and delivery of dozens of commercial transactions and client service relationships at such organizations as EDS and Accenture. He has also held senior executive positions in operations, marketing and sales divisions.
CHICAGO MERCANTILE EXCHANGE INC.
Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME), the largest U.S. futures exchange, appointed Jeffrey P. Kilinski director, interest rate products. Kilinski works with the CME interest rate products team to drive interest rate options volume growth on the CME electronic Enhanced Options System.
Kilinski previously was vice president for Lehman Brothers Inc., where he was responsible for sales of futures, derivatives, treasuries, agencies and other fixed income products. He specialized in interest rate futures and options on futures sales at Lehman Brothers and at J.P. Morgan Futures Inc., where he was vice president from 1993 to 2002. Kilinski also worked as an asset manager for Jones Lang Wootton Realty Advisors in New York City and for Homart Development Co. in Chicago. He is a Series 7, Series 3 and Series 63 registered representative.
NAVY PIER
The Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority hired Tim Macy as general manager of Navy Pier.
Macy has held senior-level positions in two Olympic games. He is president of Woodward/Macy & Associates, an Orlando-based firm that provides consulting and project management for entertainment venues, sports stadiums and retail sites in the United States and overseas.

Michael J. Graham joined RR Donnelley & Sons Co. as senior vice president, corporate controller. The company also promoted Rebecca J. Bruening to senior vice president, operations & business integration.
Most recently, Graham was vice president and controller of Sears, Roebuck and Co. He previously held senior financial positions at companies including Aegis Communications Group, The Wellbridge Co., Sunbeam and Quaker Oats. He was also an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led multi-location, international financial audits.
Bruening joined RR Donnelley in 2004 as vice president, business integration. Previously, she held executive positions in corporate finance, including as vice president and treasurer of The Scotts Co.

Patricia B. O’Brien, M.D., joined DiamondCluster International as partner, leading the firm’s North America health care practice. O’Brien will also be a member of the North American/United Kingdom Management Committee, which provides day-to-day management oversight to the North American and United Kingdom consulting practices.
O’Brien joins DiamondCluster from Accenture, where she was partner and practice leader for the North American provider practice. She was a clinical practitioner for six years, from 1986 to 1992. She received her M.D. from Northwestern University; an MBA in health care management and an MPH in public health policy from Columbia University; and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Northwestern University.
