Doctors Hospital of Stark County

Janie Sinacore-Jaberh was named chief operating officer at Doctors Hospital. She is also chief nursing officer. Jerry L. Bischoff was named chief financial officer.

The Akron-based law firm named Louis F. Wagner co-chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group and David Kern co-chair of the Business Practice Group. They practice out of the firm’s Akron office. Christopher S. Humphrey was named as as a shareholder. He is a member of the Medical Malpractice Defense and Litigation Practice Groups.

Nathan VanLaningham was named vice president, chief financial officer. Donald Argiro was named vice president, human resources.

Steven Piatak has joined the Akron-based CPA firm in its Valuation & Litigation Advisory Services practice as senior business valuation associate.

Roetzel & Andress

The Akron-based law firm added Ricardo J. Cardenas as an associate in its Akron office. He will practice in the Risk Management Law Group. The firm hired Jerome Cox as associate in its Business Services Law Group and Marshal M. Pitchford as associate in the Risk Management and Business Litigation Law groups.

Karen Wise was promoted to manager of the natural resources consulting and environmental planning group for Davey Resource Group, a division of Davey Tree. Michelle Malcosky was promoted to wetlands production manager. Davey Tree is headquartered in Kent.

Thomas P. O’Neill has been appointed administrative director/chief financial officer for Summa Health System Hospitals, based in Akron.

Dawn G. Bartholomew joined the CPA firm as an associate in its Akron office. She will work in the Accounting & Auditing department.

The Akron-based manufacturer of frozen bakery products promoted Melissa Mayberry to regional sales manager for its Northeast Ohio sales territory.

County Pure Foods

Rodney W. Moses was promoted to director, human resources, for the Akron-based producer of juice products.

Ultra Tech Machinery Inc.

The Cuyahoga Falls-based designer and manufacturer of metal forming and machining equipment appointed Joe Butler as its national sales manager. He is responsible for administering Ultra Tech’s sales and marketing program throughout North America.

InfoCision Management Corp.

The Akron company promoted Todd Grable to senior vice president of marketing. He will be responsible for growing business from the company’s existing clients. Mike White was promoted to senior vice president of software and networking in the IT division.

FedEx Custom Critical

Christopher N. O’Neil was appointed chief information officer. He will oversee the technology used throughout all FedEx Custom Critical operating divisions and subsidiaries. He also serves as managing director of IT. Lisa Beaufait was promoted to division service manager for FedEx Custom Critical’s Surface Expedite division. She joined FedEx Custom Critical in 1988 as a customer service dispatcher.

Stephen Weingart was promoted to division service manager for the Surface Expedite division and Geoffrey Price to recruiting manager, responsible for the recruiting and retention of owner operators in the Midwest and Southern territories.

Michael Abood and John Motuza were named area human resources managers. Their new responsibilities include managing the human resources generalist group and issues regarding employee relations, compensation, recruiting, team development and company culture.

United Way of Summit County

Julie M. Blackledge was appointed vice president, major gift development, for the United Way of Summit County. For the past two years, she served as executive director at the United Way of Western Stark County in Massillon.
