The Walsh University Board of Directors has appointed Richard Jusseaume as the university’s sixth president. Jusseaume served two terms as the university’s dean of students. He is a 1967 graduate of the university.

John Ballantyne has been hired as director of research services for the Canton-based advertising and public relations firm. He is responsible for managing and directing research projects for the agency’s clients. Jonathan Downing has been hired as a media buyer. He was most recently a senior account supervisor for Grizzard Communications in Los Angeles.
Susan Jewell has been named as a public relations executive. She will handle writing assignments, media relations and execution of public relations programs. Melinda Christy has been hired as production coordinator. She is responsible for print, newspaper and broadcast coordination.
Amie Kurian has been named art director. She is responsible for designing print and online projects.
Seifert Technologies Inc.
Dale A. Musser Jr. has been appointed project manager, IT and programming services, for the Massillon consulting firm. Musser will run the company’s IT and programming group.
Peoples Services Inc.
John T. Matheos has been named vice president of sales and marketing for the Canton-based firm. Peoples Services provides warehousing, specialized transportation services, packaging and distribution of chemicals and related items for Fortune 500 companies.
