BORGWARNER INC.

BorgWarner Inc. appointed Robin J. Adams executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer. Adams replaces William C. Cline, who previously acted as CFO. Cline will resume his normal activities as corporate vice president and controller. The position of chief administrative officer is new to BorgWarner.

Adams most recently served as executive vice president of finance and CFO for American Axle and Manufacturing Inc. Prior to that, he was with BorgWarner for 13 years as vice president and treasurer from 1993 to 1999.

DADE BEHRING HOLDINGS INC.

Dade Behring Holdings Inc. chief financial officer John Duffey was chosen as Chicago CFO of the Year by the Chicago chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute and the Chicago Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.

Entries for CFO of the Year were evaluated by a panel of experts in the field of investor relations, including representatives from Pactiv Corp., CDW Corp., the Kellogg School of Management, Abbott Laboratories and Hewitt Associates.

PROTOCOL MARKETING GROUP

Protocol Marketing Group appointed Charles R. Dall’Acqua president and CEO. He will also serve on the board of directors.

Dall’Acqua comes to Protocol Marketing Group with more than 25 years of experience in direct marketing. Most recently, he was a senior vice president and corporate officer at Harte-Hanks Inc., a $900 million NYSE-listed worldwide direct marketing and targeted media company, where he was responsible for the success of 18 business units and their Fortune 1000 clients.

HUB INTERNATIONAL LTD.

Hub International Ltd. appointed W. Kirk James, vice president and secretary, to the newly created role of chief corporate development officer. James has served as vice president, corporate secretary and general counsel at the insurance brokerage company since 1999.

Marianne D. Paine succeeds James and assumes the titles of chief legal officer and assistant secretary, joining the company from a Chicago law firm where she was a founding partner. In addition to serving Hub’s Chicago-based brokerage, Mack and Parker Inc., for more than 12 years, Paine has provided legal services to Hub since 1999 in matters such as technology procurements, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial activities.

RR DONNELLEY & SONS CO.

RR Donnelley & Sons Co. appointed Kevin J. Smith executive vice president and CFO, effective upon the filing of the company’s first quarter 2004 report on Form 10-Q in early May. Smith joined the company as an officer April 12. He will be responsible for the company’s worldwide finance, procurement, tax and investor relations activities.

He joins RR Donnelley from Heidrick & Struggles International Inc., an executive search and leadership services consulting firm, where he served as CFO. There, he led a significant restructuring effort that reduced the company’s cost structure by $200 million and returned it to profitability, while improving operating margins and free cash flow.

SSA GLOBAL

SSA Global, a provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, appointed Carlos E. Galarce chief information officer. To address SSA Global’s ever-growing IT infrastructure requirements, he will establish and manage the strategic direction for IT operations. Galarce will ensure successful deployment of employees, processes and technology to integrate worldwide systems to effectively and efficiently serve the company’s 3,800 employees, approximately 16,000 customers and an expanding market.

Nelson named Solucient CEO

Solucient, a provider of strategic business and clinical information for the health care industry, named Nancy Pope Nelson CEO. Nelson succeeds Charles Leonard, who will continue serving on the Solucient board and as a senior adviser to the board.

Nelson brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive in both public and private corporations in the information technology, health care and financial services industries. Most recently, she served as chief operating officer with Micro General Corp., a $118 million software and services company in the financial services and real estate market acquired by Fidelity National Information Solutions in 2002. Prior to that, she was COO at QuadraMed, a $110 million health care software and services company.

Nelson also served as COO at Compucare, later acquired by QuadraMed, where her experience included field operations, research and development, support, sales, marketing, product management, finance, customer service and human resource functions. She was practice director with First Consulting Group’s Management Consulting Division, where she specialized in quality improvement, management and managed care IT consulting for health care provider, payer and employer organizations.
