UNB Corp. of Canton has merged with BancFirst Ohio Corp. of Zanesville. The merger was approved in January and should be completed by early March. The new holding company will be known as Unizan Financial Corp.
SkyLAN
Northeast Ohio’s first high-speed wireless company has opened a location in downtown Canton. The Internet provider is located on 6th Street next to FirstEnergy. SkyLAN provides service to Stark County organizations including the city of Canton and the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
