American Financial Group Inc. appointed Piyush Singh vice president. Singh is responsible for information technology services for AFG’s property and casualty insurance operations and a number of AFG corporate functions.
He has also been named senior vice president and chief information officer of Great American Insurance Co.
Singh brings 12 years of insurance industry experience to this position, much of it related to transformation of front office insurance operations.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in physics from Hindu College, Delhi, India. He also has a master’s degree in computer applications from University of Delhi, India, and an MBA from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. Additionally, he attained his CPCU designation and completed the Advanced Executive Education program offered by the AICPCU at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Through the operations of the Great American Insurance Group, AFG is engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialized commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of retirement annuities, supplemental insurance and life products.
NATIONAL CITY
Robert E. LaMothe was appointed small business banking officer for National City’s Northern Kentucky territory. He is responsible for providing full-service banking solutions to Northern Kentucky’s small business community.
He previously worked as a banking center manager and banking officer at Fifth Third Bank in Northern Kentucky. He has more than 11 years of experience in the financial services industry.
LaMothe earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a master’s degree in finance from Xavier University. He volunteers for the Leukemia Society of America and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Also at National City, Tiffany A. Short was appointed branch manager at the l8306 Cincinnati-Dayton Road location. She has six years of banking experience.
Short serves on the board of directors for the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers with the “Feed a Smile” program, which benefits less fortunate families, and mentor teenagers through the Youth Outreach Ministry.

Lisa Kuethe was promoted to vice president, commercial team leader, of Huntington’s local treasury management group. She manages all functions of the company’s treasury management sales and service operation middle market commercial group for the Southern Ohio/Kentucky region.
She has been with Huntington for more than 14 years and was most recently treasury management sales officer in the Cincinnati Corporate Banking Group. She is a member of the Southwest Ohio Association for Financial Professionals and a member of the National Association for Financial Professionals.
She also participates in the HOST program as a mentor at Rothenburg Elementary School.

She oversees key integrated marketing accounts in the retail, national defense and hospitality areas, and provides strategic counsel to the agency’s clients.
She most recently worked as project manager for Signal US Communications.
Riegart earned a master of arts degree in public relations from Ball State University and bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Ohio University. She has worked in the university communications department at Ball State and as marketing assistant at Kaeser & Blair Inc.
She also previously worked with Justice & Young and was responsible for the public relations activities of Graeter’s Ice Cream, Appearance Plus Cleaners and The Plastic Surgery Group.

FKI Logistex appointed Bob Duplain president of the warehouse and distribution division of FKI Logistex North America.
He previously worked as acting division president and has worked for the company for 10 years. He has also served as warehouse and distribution divisional senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Prior to joining FKI Logistex, he worked as vice president and controller at Sheffield Measurement and chief financial officer and corporate controller of the Dayton Walther Corp.
Duplain earned a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from The Ohio State University and an MBA in accounting from Wright State University. He is also a CPA.
