Peggy Rhcle_hr_PeggyRheinein is experienced at leading human resource change initiatives to support business objectives and company goals in her role at TMW Systems. She manages the HRIS, compensation and benefits responsibilities. With her natural attraction to supporting employees in their professional growth as well as their personal well-being, she enjoys knowing she is helping people focus on their needs.
Her most recent successful project has been TMW’s wellness program. Rhein learned that staff members were not taking care of their health as they should and took on the responsibility to influence key managers to support the program. She developed a wellness culture through activities, events and online components that encourage employees to track their participation.
Employees are encouraged to take charge of their physical and mental health, and management is required take a holistic approach to worker health that includes workplace safety, a supportive environment and employee empowerment. Management’s role is to support wellness efforts through training, incentives and to encourage participation.
Company lunch cafes now offer healthier food choices. In addition, employees may participate in health screenings, fitness events, health seminars, health coaching, wellness breaks and online health tracking.
Another accomplishment was to increase membership in TMW’s new fitness center. When TMW recently moved its offices to a different location in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, it left behind the fitness center employees used, conveniently located across the street. Rhein played a key role in securing a newly built on-site facility.
