Remy names Weber president, CEO
Remy International Inc. appointed John H. Weber president and CEO. He succeeds Thomas J. Snyder.
Weber comes to the company from EaglePicher Inc., a global conglomerate of auto parts, mining and high tech businesses, where he worked as president and CEO. Prior to joining EaglePicher, Weber was president, industrial control and friction materials, for Honeywell International. Weber has also held executive and managerial positions with General Electric, Vickers, Baxter International and McKinsey & Co.

THE FLAGSHIP ENTERPRISE CENTER
The Flagship Enterprise Center appointed Thomas J. Snyder interim chairman of the Flagship Energy Systems Center.
Snyder previously worked as president and CEO of Remy International Inc. In his new role, he leads the state’s first energy-focused development center of excellence, which hopes to establish Central Indiana as the “bio-crossroads of energy.”
HARLAN SPRAGUE DAWLEY INC.
Harlan Sprague Dawley Inc. appointed Stephen J. Sullivan CEO. He also takes a position on the company’s board of directors. He has worked in executive management positions with several organizations in the health and life sciences industry. He most recently worked with Covance as president of Covance Central Laboratories for four years and president of late-stage development for three years. He also served as president, CEO and chairman of Xenometrix.
Also at Harlan Sprague Dawley, John Zabriskie was appointed to the board of directors. He is former president and CEO of Pharmacia & Upjohn. He also has worked as chairman and CEO of NEN Life Sciences and served as a board member of BioSource.
APRIMO INC.
Aprimo Inc. named Michael Emerson chief marketing officer. He provides strategic oversight to the company’s worldwide marketing, including product, corporate and field marketing initiatives.
He most recently worked as general manager of the EMM product line at Siebel Systems. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of marketing and product development at Protagona Worldwide.
ITT EDUCATIONAL SERVICES INC.
ITT Educational Services Inc. elected Samuel L. Odle to its board of directors.
He is president and CEO of Methodist Hospital and Indiana University Hospital. He is also executive vice president of Clarian Health Partners, a nonprofit health care organization.
ITT Educational Services Inc. provides technology-oriented postsecondary degree programs.
SOMMER BARNARD
Sommer Barnard elected five new directors — Joseph W. Cade, James R.A. Dawson, Jeffrey J. Graham, Marci A. Reddick and John K. Smeltzer.
Cade, Smeltzer and Reddick are members of the business and real estate groups. Dawson and Graham are members of the business restructuring, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights group.
SINGLE SOURCE SYSTEMS INC.
Single Source Systems Inc. promoted Woody Davis to sales executive for Infor SyteLine ERP new discrete manufacturing customer sales in Indiana and Northwest Illinois.
He has worked for the company since 2004 and was previously senior account manager. Prior to joining the company, he held several senior enterprise software sales and consulting positions including national accounts manager and business partner manager for Frontstep (now Infor).
WINDROSE MEDICAL PROPERTIES TRUST
Windrose Medical Properties Trust hired Paula J. Conroy as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Prior to joining Windrose, she worked as director of finance and corporate accounts operations at Roche Diagnostics. Prior to that, she spent nearly 20 years with Ernst & Young LLP, most recently as national director of employee benefit plan services.
Conroy earned a bachelor of science degree in general management and an MBA from Purdue University.
WELLPOINT INC.
Joan Kennedy was appointed president of Health Management Corp. and senior vice president of WellPoint Inc.
She most recently worked as vice president of health services for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York. She is also a founding member of the Disease Management Association of America and was recognized as one of the top leaders in disease management by Managed Healthcare Executive magazine in 2004. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Bates College and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management.
