Irwin Financial Foundation elected John Burnett president. He also assumes the role of director, community relations.
Burnett previously worked as president of the Community Education Coalition. Prior to that, he was co-owner of the Adecco Personnel Services territory in Buffalo, N.Y., and served in human resource management positions with Cummins Inc. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana State University.

Butler-MacDonald Inc. named Terrence P. Bradshaw vice president.
Bradshaw graduated from Wabash College and has more than 30 years of experience in corporate marketing, sales management and business development. He is responsible for strategic planning and providing overall direction of the company.
MIDWEST ISO
Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator Inc. (Midwest ISO) named T. Graham Edwards interim CEO following the resignation of James P. Torgerson. During his interim position, he will step down as chairman of the board. He has served as a member of the board since 2001 and was named chairman last April.
The board of directors has also elected William P. Vititoe as interim chairman. He was previously vice chairman to Edwards and had served in that position since last April.
WELLPOINT INC.
Kathy Zorica was named vice president and general manager in Wellpoint Inc.’s under-65 individual market in the Central region. She is responsible for the financial performance, underwriting, sales, retention and broker service for individual plans in Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Ohio.
She most recently worked as general manager of consumer services for WellPoint’s health plan in Missouri. She joined the Missouri health plan in 1977. She has worked as senior vice president, business analysis and product management; vice president, product management; director, product development; director, account operations and services; and director, financial analysis.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University and an MBA from St. Louis University. She is also a member of the board of directors for the St. Louis chapter of the March of Dimes.
Also at Wellpoint, Brenda Burke was hired as supplier diversity director. She was the former director of administration for the mayor of Indianapolis, where she led the citywide supplier diversity program.
In her new role, she is responsible for building strategic relationships with key diverse suppliers, expanding the company’s supplier diversity initiative nationwide and developing innovative procurement approaches that support the company’s corporate strategy.
Also at Wellpoint, McKenzie Scott Lewis was hired as corporate diversity director. He previously led the strategic development of diversity and inclusion programs for Clarian Health Partners.

40|86 Advisors Inc. appointed Michael E. Duncan assistant vice president of private placements.
He is responsible for initiating, evaluating, structuring and negotiating private placement investments for the firm. He most recently worked as a private placement securities analyst with Jefferson Pilot Financial, where he provided ongoing monitoring, management and pricing of an $800 million portfolio. Prior to this, he worked as a senior consultant for The Daniel Group in Charlotte, N.C. He spent much of his early career at First Union National Bank.
He earned his bachelor of science degree from Radford University and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. He is a chartered financial analyst.
