Regency Windows names Gordon CEO

David E. Gordon was named president and CEO of Regency Windows after Mike Magden stepped down.

Gordon was previously president and CEO of Armstrong World Industries’ cabinet division. He transformed the struggling division into a profitable, growing business with increased market share and improved customer service. Before joining Armstrong, Gordon was a consultant with Corporate Divisions Inc., a growth strategy consulting firm in Boston.

“We feel fortunate to have found someone as talented as Dave. He is an exceptional executive who will add a lot of energy and leadership to our company,” Magden says.

Gordon earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Regency Windows is one of Ohio’s largest replacement window companies, with more than 100 employees and 40,000 customers. The Twinsburg-based company markets and installs vinyl siding, patio doors and kitchen cabinet refacing for residential and commercial customers.

was appointed vice president, client operations for Innis Maggiore. With the appointment, Vandegrift becomes one of the agency’s principals.

CANTON REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce honored area leaders with 2005 Community Salute Awards. The Community Salute Awards honor Stark County citizens and/or businesses for exemplifying the spirit of community stewardship.

William D. Clarke received the Award of Merit. He is the retired chairman and CEO of Hilscher-Clarke Electric.

James A. Bower received the Award of Appreciation. He is president of Stark Community Foundation.

Gaetano M. Cecchini, Richard D. Watkins and Murli Manohar also received the Award of Appreciation. All three are founders of Canton Community Clinic, now known as Richard D. Watkins Canton Community Clinic.

OUTLOOK POINT AT SAGAMORE HILLS
Yvonne Owens
was named general manager of Outlook Point at Sagamore Hills. Owens was previously with HCR Manorcare for seven years, where she was executive director.

Also at Outlook Point, Christine Sutliff was named marketing director. She was previously with The Connor Group in Atlanta.

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF GREATER CLEVELAND AND EAST CENTRAL OHIO INC.
Eugene A. DeChellis, Jr.
was named chief financial officer of Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio Inc.

DeChellis previously spent 15 years with Alltel Publishing Corp., where he worked in several positions, including vice president of accounting and finance.

He is a board member of the CYC Community Recreation Center and coaches middle school girls’ basketball at Our Lady of Peace Catholic School.

Kenneth J. Klika
was appointed director of Brockman, Coats, Gedelian & Co.

Klika has been with the company since 2002. He was previously vice president in charge of networking for a technology consulting firm.

He has several professional expertise designations in industries including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Cisco Certified Network Associate.

SUMMA HEALTH SYSTEM
Dr. Victoria L. Sanelli was appointed medical director of Summa Health System’s Ignatia Hall Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program.

Sanelli also serves as medical director for Ignatia Hall’s Intensive Outpatient Program. She is a clinical professor of psychiatry at Northeast Ohio University College of Medicine, where she completed her medical degree.

GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO.
Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. named Pierre Jambon general manager, global aviation.

Jambon joined Goodyear in 2004 as director of finance planning and analysis for the North American Tire business unit.

Before joining Goodyear, Jambon was vice president, finance planning and analysis, for GKN Aerospace Services in Chicago.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University and his MBA from Loyola Marymount University.

ROCKYNOL RETIREMENT COMMUNITY
Mary Cochran
was named executive director of Rockynol Retirement Community.

Cochran has worked as executive director of Park Vista Retirement Community in Youngstown since 1990. She continues in this position as she adds responsibilities at Rockynol. Both facilities are part of an 11-community network owned and operated by Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services, headquartered in Columbus.

Cochran has served in clinical and leadership roles with OPRS for 26 years.

Bober, Markey, Fedorovich & Co. hired Ashley James Price as senior tax manager.

Price has experience in the tax implications of acquisitions and mergers, entity structure, and reviewing and analyzing merger agreements. He previously spent eight years with a Big Four international accounting firm.

Price earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Akron.
