Stanley M. Fisher, of counsel to law firm Budish & Solomon Ltd., received the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from the Northern District of Ohio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA).
Fisher is past president of the Northern District of Ohio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, a lifetime member of the FBA board of directors and the first Ohioan to serve as national president of the FBA. He is a life member of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.
Fisher was appointed Ohio commissioner in 1983 by Gov. Richard Celeste and reappointed by Gov. George Voinovich and Gov. Bob Taft.
In 1992, President Bill Clinton named Fisher to the Federal Service Impasse Panel, which handles mediation and arbitration of disputes between federal agencies and their employees. Fisher served on the panel until 2002. He is a local and national mediator and arbitrator, and is serving his second term as a member of the American Arbitration Association Advisory Council.
Fisher was national president of the American Counsel Association, is a life member of the Judicial Conference for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the sixth circuit and a life member of the Judicial Conference of the eighth Ohio Appellate District. He also is a member of the Ohio, Florida, Michigan and Colorado bars.

Bunn is also president, Key corporate and investment banking. He joined Key in 2002 and has 27 years of experience in banking and investment banking. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University and an MBA in finance from the University of North Carolina.

Therapy Partners appointed James W. Rogerson president.
Rogerson joined the Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network in 1995. Previously, he held regional and divisional positions as director of operations for The Multicare Cos. in New Jersey and Ohio. He began his health care career as an administrator with Northwestern Service Corp. in Berea.
Rogerson is a member of HealthRays Alliance, a consortium of 20 Northeast Ohio not-for-profit, long-term care facilities, and serves as an evaluator for the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission in Washington, D.C. He is a licensed nursing home administrator in Ohio and previously served as a trustee of The Children’s Museum of Cleveland.
FINANCIAL ADVISORS HALL OF FAME
George Szeretvai, founder, CEO and chairman of the board of Vantage Financial Group Inc., was chosen for the Financial Advisors Hall of Fame in recognition of his career of achievement, community service and his contributions in the financial services industry.
Szeretvai is one of only three professionals in the United States selected for Hall of Fame honors in a program established by GenAmerica Financial.
Szeretvai founded Vantage Financial Group in 1969 after working in the financial services industry for six years. Today, the company manages more than $700 million of qualified plan and individual assets.
STERIS CORP.
STERIS Corp. hired Patricia K. Fish as senior vice president, human resources.
Fish is responsible for leading STERIS’ worldwide human resources organization, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, staffing, organizational development and employee training programs.
Fish joins STERIS Corp. from Sigma Aldrich, where she was senior vice president, human resources. Previously, she held similar senior executive positions with RehabCare Group Inc. and bioMerieux – Pierre Fabre.
Fish earned a bachelor of science degree in education from Kent State University and master’s degrees in business administration and social work from Washington University.

ThenDesign Architecture Ltd. named Christopher D. Smith, AIA, NCARB, partner.
Smith is leading a number of projects for the Cleveland Municipal School District, most notably the new John Adams High School. He played an integral role in establishing TDA’s educational and sports/recreation studios.
Prior to joining TDA, Smith was a project architect at GSI Architects, where he received two national design awards.
GRANT THORNTON
Chad Davies was named state and local tax senior manager in the Cleveland office of Grant Thornton LLP. He was previously tax manager.
Davies received a bachelor of business administration degree from Baldwin Wallace College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Tax Club of Cleveland and the Cleveland Chapter of Certified Public Accountants.
Grant Thornton also hired Raymond Lincourt as international tax manager.
Lincourt specializes in U.S. international taxation ,with a key focus on helping U.S. multinational companies manage their worldwide tax burden. His areas of expertise include acquisition and divestiture structuring, repatriation planning, foreign tax credit management, treaty interpretation, maximization of export incentives, and financing and mobile income structure.
Grant Thorton also promoted Rick O’Callaghan to business advisory services manager. Jill Mansfield, Jaime Onk and RaeAnne Hoffman were promoted to assurance managers.
