ARCHITECTURE & CONSTRUCTION
WTW Architects of Pittsburgh, in cooperation with Lyman, Davidson & Looley of Marietta, Ga., was selected to design a 40,000-square-foot renovation of the Houston Building, the former bookstore at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
Burns & Scalo Roofing Co. received the roofing contract for Caste Village Shopping Center, including tear-off of the existing roof and installation of a new roof system. The company also secured a contract for installation of a new roof for the Accutronics Building in Blawnox.
PWCampbell secured a design/build contract with Champlain National Bank, based in Wellsboro, N.Y., to construct a retail branch office in North Alba, N.Y.
BANKING & FINANCIAL SERVICES
S&T Bank opened an office in Hollywood Square Wal-Mart SuperCenter in Delmont. The full-service branch offers seven-day-a-week banking and 24-hour ATM access.
Neuro Kinetics Inc. received a $100,000 loan through Allegheny County’s Development Assistance Action Program. The loan will finance development of the company’s technology for balance and neurological testing, diagnosis and rehabilitation.
