Many business owners have made their mark on Central Ohio over the years — not just because of their company’s success, but because of the personal dedication they’ve shown to our community.
Each year since 1987, Junior Achievement of Central Ohio has inducted several such executives into its Business Hall of Fame. The Year 2000 honorees are Friedl Bohm, chairman of NBBJ; Donald A. Borror, founder and chairman emeritus of Dominion Homes; Ret. Maj. Gen. Ray Mason Jr., founder and chairman of Columbus Truck and Equipment Co. Inc.; and Ron Pizzuti, chairman and CEO of The Pizzuti Cos.
As a sponsor of the Nov. 9 event lauding these executives, SBN has the distinct honor of helping you get to know these business-minded civic leaders as real people. They’ve shared with us their personal achievements, fears, hobbies and childhood memories. Here’s a taste of what they told us.
