Poised for growth

As a child, Bernd Ronnisch envisioned
constructing large buildings. It was a
passion he knew early in life he wanted to chase, and he is now living
that dream by constructing buildings
from Home Depots
to Rite Aids.

Ronnisch started
R o n n i s c h
Construction
Group with a partner, but ultimately
realized that each
wanted to pursue a
different vision. Ronnisch’s decision to
buy out his partner was a financial
strain, but it helped him to realize the
visionary in himself.

Ronnisch runs his company according to
values that reflect the high standards he’s
set for himself, his employees and the operation of his business. Those values are simple: unwavering accountability to self and
team; united we stand; contagious positive
culture that is gratifying, respectful,
rewarding and privileged; uncompromising customer service; honesty and integrity; improving the reputation of the building
industry; and family always comes first.

Under Ronnisch, who serves as the company’s president, every employee understands
that even when faced with obstacles, these
values must never be compromised.

Ronnisch is also a big believer in accountability. Because he knows the construction
industry can have a negative reputation, he
expects every employee to adhere to his
belief that, “If you deliver what you say you’re
going to, it breeds good marketing,” and that,
“Good business breeds repeat business.”

The company is poised for growth during
the next five years, with plans to expand
into other regions. But Ronnisch says it
will only expand as long as the expansion
will not compromise the quality of his company’s customer service.
