Recently, Smart Business sat down with Steve Lemelin at Georgia Jet to discuss the benefits of flying with a charter company.
Why fly charter?
There are several reasons to fly charter. Georgia Jet is able to utilize more than 5,000 airports throughout the country, allowing us to get you closer to your ultimate destination. Additionally, we travel on your time schedule not ours. This would allow for trips to business meetings in a single day, out in the morning and back that evening, thus cutting out overnight expenses. This also allows more useful expenditures of time, as none is wasted waiting in an airport terminal for a flight or on a layover.
In these days of heightened security, you will always know who is on the aircraft with you, unless you have freaky friends, it eliminates the "underwear bomber." An added benefit to this is that you don’t have to worry about the person next to you having an airborne transmittable disease (i.e. TB, or SARS). Also if you’re not into the screaming baby in the seat behind you, charter is the way to go!
What makes flying Georgia Jet different?
We operate a fleet of newer generation aircraft equipped with modern avionics, including traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS), Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), these systems provide for additional situational awareness to the flight crew thereby increasing the level of safety.
Who flies Georgia Jet?
Our customer base ranges from celebrities in the sports and entertainment industries and business travelers who wish to increase time management.
With the ability to work within their schedule, we can get them closer to where they need to be when they want to be there, and get them moving to their next destination or home when they wish to be there. We are indeed a time multiplier.
We do see quite a bit of leisure travels, too. When taking the whole family to a single destination, we become very price competitive with the scheduled airlines.
What are some other unique services that Georgia Jet provides?
We provide complete concierge services for all aspects of your travel to include ground transportation coordination and catering. We also have a 24-hour dispatch center so you will be sure to speak to someone live throughout the day and night.
Georgia Jet, founded in 1986, is based at Gwinnett County Airport (LZU). We can arrange your flights to and from anywhere in the world. Call today so we can prove why Georgia Jet should be your private jet charter company of choice.
