Tollgrade names Van Peenen VP, cable marketing, sales

Peter J. Van Peenen joined Tollgrade Communications Inc. as vice president, cable marketing and sales.

He is responsible for defining and executing Tollgrade’s cable product strategy, from concept and product development to market launch and customer promotion to service maintenance. He is also responsible for the financial performance of Tollgrade’s cable portfolio, including all cable operations, marketing and sales.

Van Peenen brings nearly two decades of experience in network management, including roles in product development and marketing, network architecture development and engineering.

During the past few years, Van Peenen worked closely with Verizon on a large fiber to the premises project as an independent consultant. Prior to that, he managed product lines for Acterna’s cable networks division and was involved in the development of its VOiP software. Previously, he worked in network management product line development and held IT responsibilities for Telseon Inc. and Objective Systems Integrators.

Van Peenen began his career with GTE Corp., where he held network engineering and product development positions over eight years. He also holds several network-related patents.

Van Peenen earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University.

Tollgrade Communications Inc. is a full-system provider of leading hardware and software testing solutions for the global telecommunications and cable broadband industries.

Greta Kelly
joined CrawfordEllenbogen LLC as marketing director.

Kelly brings 10 years of accounting marketing experience. She worked for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants for almost seven years, providing members with support and guidance in planning social and educational events, and publicizing the profession and the organization’s endeavors through newsletters, media releases and community activities.

Kelly worked for three years at a regional CPA firm, concentrating her marketing skills on one company before expanding to include other professional service industries.

Keystone Dedicated Logistics
Bill Reed
joined Keystone Dedicated Logistics as manager of international business.

Reed has more than 30 years of experience with dealing with import, export and international regulations. His international experience includes working with air and ocean transport, hazardous regulations, overdimensional freight and household goods.

Reed previously worked for Calgon and Westinghouse in their corporate headquarters.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS
Tina Reczek
was appointed to the newly-created position of manager of transportation services at Pitt Ohio Express.

Reczek is responsible for the daily functions and resources in the Transportation Services Department, including Linehaul Operations. She is also responsible for leveraging technology for operational improvements.

Reczek began her career with Pitt Ohio Express 16 years ago and has held positions in operations and technology. Most recently, she was responsible for leveraging technology for operational efficiency as manager of operations, IS development.

MED3000 Group Inc.
MED3000 Group Inc. elected Dr. Paul A. McLeod to the corporate board.

McLeod has worked as chief medical executive for MED3OOO since 2000 and has been instrumental in guiding the clinical focus for the organization.

McLeod is also dean of the Florida State University College of Medicine, Pensacola Regional Campus.

Prior to joining MED3OOO, McLeod was medical director for his family practice group in Florida and as MED3OOO Southeast region’s MSO medical director. He also previously served as assistant clinical professor in family practice at the University of South Alabama.

McLeod earned a bachelor of science degree from Florida State University and an M.D. from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He completed his family practice residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Pensacola.

Robert Morris University
Gregory G. Dell’Omo was sworn in as Robert Morris University’s seventh president Nov. 11.

Dell’Omo began his tenure as president of RMU in August, following the retirement of Edward A. Nicholson.

Dell’Omo is also a professor of management with RMU’s School of Business.

Dell’Omo joined RMU after 14 years at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he most recently served as vice president of external affairs.

Dell’Omo earned a Ph.D. in industrial relations/human resource management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a master’s degree in industrial relations from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Montclair State University. He also holds a certificate from the Harvard University Institute for Educational Management.

Westin Convention Center Hotel
Deborah L. Cygrymus
was named director of revenue management for the Westin Convention Center Hotel.

Previously Cygrymus worked as director of catering and convention services for the hotel.

Cygrymus has nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She has held management positions with Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.; Holiday Inn Meadowlands in Washington, Pa.; Embassy Suites in Robinson Township, Pa.; and Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in O’Hara Township, Pa.

Last year, she was honored with the Worldwide Sales Incentive Award from Starwood Resorts and Hotels.

Cygrymus graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I.
