The Pacesetters Awards are designed to recognize business leaders in the Greater Pittsburgh area that are setting the pace for the region.
The 2010 awards are approaching rapidly, and the call for nominations has begun. If you know a leader in the Greater Pittsburgh region who sets the tone for economic growth and area improvement, fill out a nomination form today (PDF).

Leaders will be recognized in three divisions, based on the size of their organizations and/or rate of growth:
EMERGING — Organizations with less than $10 million in annual revenue and a double-digit annual growth rate over the past three years
MIDMARKET — Organizations with between $10 and $99 million in annual revenue
LARGE — Organizations with annual revenue in excess of $100 million
Approximately 12 individuals will be named Pacesetters — up to four in each of the three categories. All of the Pacesetters will be profiled in the October 2010 edition of Smart Business Pittsburgh. Additionally, “Best Story” awards will be handed out in each of the three categories at the St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference on Sept. 20, 2010.
Last year, 12 area leaders showed the best that Pittsburgh had to offer, leading the way on the conference’s 2009 theme: “How to succeed in business … in troubled times.”
