When Celeste V. Ford founded Stellar Solutions Inc. in 1995, she had one goal in mind — to solve customers’ needs while realizing her dream job.
She started the company after working in the aerospace engineering industry, where she earned the technical and business experience to go out on her own. The result was Stellar Solutions, an engineering services company that provides end-to-end technical expertise and problem-solving skills to national and international aerospace programs. It has become a recognized leader in the aerospace field, satisfying customers’ critical needs on diverse projects, including defense-related intelligence projects, international telecommunications satellites, commercial imagery satellites, and NASA’s earth science and planetary missions.
Today, the company’s enterprises include Stellar Solutions, Stellar Ventures, Stellar Solutions Aerospace Limited and the Stellar Foundation. And in 2001, she founded QuakeFinder, a research and development sector of Stellar Solutions, to advance research in earthquake forecasting. The idea came out of one employee’s passion, and Ford provided the funding, enabling the employee to scale up operations and build and launch a satellite within 18 months. Another expansion in 2004 resulted in the creation of Stellar Solutions Aerospace, a global aerospace engineering services company with a dedicated European and international focus.
