Your new opportunity can come from an existing one!
It’s not very often that an existing customer relationship is using or even aware of all the products and services that you provide. If you’re not careful, all of your time can be spent looking for new opportunities instead of maximizing the ones you already have.
Make it a focus in 2017 to contact at least one existing customer relationship a week and schedule a meeting to discuss three things:
- Make sure that all their expectations are being met.
- Provide suggestions and recommendations of ways to add value to their company.
- If they are satisfied, ask them if they know anyone else that could benefit from the same level of service that they are currently receiving.
