The board of directors of The Timken Co. elected Ward J. “Tim” Timken Jr. vice chairman, board of directors.
Timken holds corporate responsibilities as executive vice president. As vice chairman, these responsibilities expand to encompass additional interface with the board of directors. Timken continues his operational role as president of the steel group.
“Tim has demonstrated exceptional leadership in key management roles throughout the company, including major corporate initiatives such as directing the integration of the former Torrington Co. The performance of the steel group under his leadership has been outstanding,” says W.R. Timken Jr., chairman of the board of directors. “Tim represents the fifth generation of Timken family members that have played active roles in company management since our founding in 1899. I am proud that Tim continues that heritage, but also that his leadership firmly exemplifies the ethics and integrity of The Timken Co.”
Timken was elected to the board of directors in 2002 and named corporate vice president, office of the chairman, in 2000. He joined the company in 1992 as executive assistant in the company’s steel group. His other positions in the steel group include senior analyst, principal strategic management analyst and market manager, distribution. In the bearing business, he held the positions of marketing manager, original equipment distribution, Europe, Africa and West Asia; and vice president, Latin America.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Georgetown University and a master’s in marketing from the University of Virginia.
THE RUHLIN CO.
Kurt Goodenberger joined The Ruhlin Co. as a business development manager. Goodenberger joins the Ruhlin team in supporting the business development endeavors of their building, industrial and civil divisions as they continue to increase market penetration and develop new construction services offerings.
He is a graduate of the Leadership Stark County program.
RPM INTERNATIONAL INC.
Edward Corbett joined RPM International Inc.’s corporate staff as manager, global taxes. In this newly created position, he assumes responsibility for managing the domestic and international income tax planning and oversees the tax provision and income tax return compliance processes.
Corbett comes to RPM from his position as manager, tax planning, for The Lubrizol Corp. Prior to joining Lubrizol, he spent several years as a senior manager in the Cleveland office of Ernst & Young LLP. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of tax positions, including director of tax at Elsag Bailey.
Corbett earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a CPA
SACS CONSULTING AND INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES INC.
SACS Consulting and Investigative Services Inc. added to its staff Ralph “Chip” Rohner as national director of the SACS consulting and marketing team, and Anthony Rohner as regional director of the SACS consulting and marketing team.
DIEBOLD INC.
Diebold Inc. named Dennis M. Moriarty vice president of its global security division, succeeding Bartholomew J. “Bart” Frazzitta, who retired. In his new role, Moriarty leads the division in providing integrated security solutions to customers in financial, government, retail and commercial markets around the world. Most recently, he served as vice president of customer business solutions for Diebold.
Diebold also appointed Sheila M. Rutt vice president, chief human resources officer. She is responsible for managing human resources initiatives across the company, providing strategic leadership for domestic and international personnel programs.
In her new position, Rutt also serves as a Diebold corporate officer. Rutt joined Diebold in 2000 as director of organizational development and was promoted to vice president, human resources for Diebold North America, and in 2002, to her most recent position as vice president, global human resources.
TC ARCHITECTS
TC Architects promoted Robert C. Chordar, AIA, to the office of president. As president, Chordar continues to work with our valued clients and assumes expanded responsibilities overseeing management and business development.
Chordar is a licensed architect with a reputation for providing clients with the highest level of personal attention, commitment and service. He has been a partner at TC Architects since 1994, and has a diversified background with varied building types, including government, retail, education, health care, recreation, commercial and housing.
He is a graduate of Kent State University and president of the Akron chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He is also a graduate of Leadership Akron (Class XX).

Alexander Teeter joined the Cleveland office of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP as an associate in the commercial business and finance group.
Teeter concentrates his practice on commercial business and finance law. He advises financial institutions, investors and borrowers on matters including secured and unsecured lending, debt issuance and the Uniform Commercial Code. Teeter also counsels clients on debt restructuring, debtor-in-possession financing, distressed company sales and acquisitions, and structuring commercial relationships.
Teeter is a graduate of Boston College Law School and earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University. He is a member of the American, Massachusetts and Boston bar associations.
