EMS Technologies Inc. President and CEO Alfred G. Hansen was named to the board of directors of the Georgia Technology Authority.
Prior to joining EMS, Hansen was corporate vice president of Lockheed Martin and executive vice president of Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a four-star general after 37 years of service. Hansen was appointed to the three-year board position by Georgia Gov. Sony Perdue. He will serve on the 12-member board for a term ending July 1, 2007.
“I am honored to serve GTA in its mission to make government more accessible and accountable through technology,” Hansen says. “As CEO of a company founded in Georgia, I am pleased to help adopt policies that will facilitate sharing technology and information in state government.”

COCA-COLA ENTERPRISES
Coca-Cola Enterprises’ board of directors elected Shaun B. Higgins, formerly senior vice president and chief strategy and planning officer, to the post of CFO. Higgins succeeds Patrick J. Mannelly, who is retiring.
Most recently, Higgins was president of the company’s European group, president and COO of Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd., CFO of Coca-Cola Beverages and CFO of The Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of New York.
Mannelly had served as CFO since 1999. He will continue as a consultant to CCE through the end of 2004.
EBIX INC.
Former Credit Suisse board member Hans Ueli Keller joined Ebix Inc.’s board of directors.
Keller spent 20 years with Credit Suisse in a variety of senior positions. He served as executive board member of Credit Suisse from 1997 to 2000, head of retail banking from 1993 to 1996 and head of marketing from 1985 to 1992. He also serves as chairman of the board of Swisscontent Corp. AG in addition to being a member of the board of directors of KdLabs AG.
AGCO CORP.
Martin Richenhagen has received the necessary immigration approval to assume his role as president and CEO of AGCO Corp., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment.
INDUS INTERNATIONAL INC.
Indus International Inc. appointed Dave Henderson vice president of global professional services. Henderson has served at some of the world’s leading organizations, including Unisys, Deloitte & Touche and J.D. Edwards and Co. For seven years, he was the director of client services at J.D. Edwards.
TSYS
Kriss Cloninger III, president and CFO of AFLAC Inc., was elected to the TSYS board of directors.
Cloninger joined AFLAC in 1992 as a senior vice president and CFO. He became president in 2001, retaining the title of CFO. Since joining AFLAC, his primary responsibilities have included financial management of all company operations in the United States and Japan.
QCEPT TECHNOLOGIES INC.
Qcept Technologies Inc. appointed semiconductor industry veteran George Deltoro senior vice president of engineering. Deltoro will lead all product engineering, manufacturing and advanced development activities for Qcept’s Chemical Metrology line of products.
His background includes roles as COO of fab automation provider NexTech Solutions and VP, Fab Solutions of Asyst Technologies, as well as Fab Manager of Motorola’s MOS 10 fab. In addition, he has served in engineering and business development management roles at Comdisco, Western Digital and General Instruments.

Robert J. Brown joined Serologicals Corp. as vice president, corporate development. He will serve as a member of the executive operating committee and as a corporate officer.

AirGate PCS Inc. named Roy E. Hadley Jr. vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Prior to joining AirGate, Hadley served as chief privacy officer and vice president, legal department, for WorldTravel BTI. He previously served as senior counsel for Turner Entertainment Group, AOL Time Warner from 1999 to 2001 and as associate commercial counsel, MCI WorldCom Inc., from 1995 to 1998. He also served as an associate in the law firm of Long, Aldridge & Norman in Atlanta in the general corporate and securities law practice group.
UNITED WAY OF METROPOLITAN ATLANTA
Ayesha Khanna, CEO of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, will become COO of United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta on Jan. 10, 2005. Khanna has served as CEO of the YWCA since 1999, and prior to that, was the organization’s director of programs and site operations.

Indus International Inc.’s Ashok Samuel, senior vice president and managing director of the Indus Service Delivery Management Business Unit, was recognized as one of the “Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business” by the Asian American Business Development Center.
Samuel joined Indus upon its January 2004 acquisition of Wishbone Systems, which he founded. Prior to his founding Wishbone Systems, Samuel was responsible for the development of Applied Business Technology’s Project Workbench, a project management software solution with more than 150,000 users worldwide.
