The Leadership Stark County (LSC) Board of Trustees and Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce administration approved plans to grow the Leadership Stark County department and hire interim director Fran Wells as LSC’s director.
LSC’s new structure includes full-time status for the director, the hiring of a fund-raising consultant and an additional part-time administrative specialist to job-share with Leigh Ann Walters-Dell, the department’s current administrative support person
The Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors’ Bureau hired Gina M. Dominick as its tourism manager. She is responsible for working with area attractions, hoteliers and tourism entities to attract new visitors and motorcoaches to Stark County and promote the area as a vacation destination.
After serving as chief operating officer since November 2001, Richard B. Hite, CPCU, a 22-year veteran of the insurance industry, also assumes the role of president at Seibert-Keck Insurance Agency. Long-standing former president James P. Berry, CPCU, maintains his roles as CEO and chairman.
