The Timken Co.’s board of directors has elected John A. Luke Jr. as its new director. Luke is president and CEO of Westvaco Corp.

Rod A. Covey has been named president of Covey & Koons, an advertising agency based in Canton. Covey is replacing Richard P. Koons, who is retiring after 32 years with the company.

Chris Willoughby has been named area sales manager for Metropolitan Bank and Trust’s new North Canton sales office. The office, on South Main Street, is part of the bank’s planned program of growth in residential and commercial lending.

Dawson Companies has added Craig G. Meldrum to its staff.

Innis Maggiore Group, a Canton advertising and public relations agency, has appointed Joan Bowser as account coordinator.

The United National Bank & Trust Co. of Canton has promoted Jerilynn Ferguson to senior vice president of human resources.

Jeff Mars has been named director of health information systems at Doctors Hospital in Massillon. Mars will oversee all data processing, telecommunications and medical records operations.

Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs has named Todd S. Bundy as shareholder-in-charge of its Canton office. Bundy is a principal member of the firm and practices in the commercial law and litigation department.
