Tea Jones
“Female Business Enterprise” winner and Tea Jones founder Sarah Jones, owner of Phoenix Coffee and tea party catering service Charlotte & Veronica’s Tea Co., plans to form a board of advisers and is conducting market research for her plan to create a chain of tea cafes under the name Tea Jones.
Jones’ research is in the Cleveland Heights and Beachwood ZIP codes, areas where her catering business is successful.
Mid-America Consulting Group
“Minority Business Enterprise” winner Mid-America Consulting Group partnered with Cleveland-based EmployOn Inc., an online recruiting services firm, to offer Internet-based case management and job-seeker employment matching service.
Workforce Investment Boards and economic development agencies are using Mid-America Consulting’s ProviderGATEWAY system to track people’s success in finding jobs posted on EmployOn’s Web site.
