ARCHITECTURE/CONSTRUCTION

Devlin Indigo Architecture completed a contract for the architecture, facilities planning and interior design of the 219,000-square-foot hotel at Mountaineer Resort in Chester, W.Va.

Repal Construction Co. was awarded the contract for the construction of a dining hall at Camp Allegheny in Stoystown. It also secured a contract for the remodeling of the St. Gregory Parish School, Zelienople.

Burns & Scalo Roofing secured roofing contracts for the Morgantown Giant Eagle, New Sheffield Elementary School in Aliquippa, Greentree Auto Body in Greentree, Masonic Village in Sewickley, St. James School in Wilkinsburg and Debo Moving & Storage in Baden.

Turner Construction Co. was selected project manager for the West Wing Addition at DuBois Medical Center.

Massaro Co. was selected to provide general construction services for selected floors of the UPMC Passavant Hospital East Wing Addition project.

Frank J. Zottola Construction Inc. was awarded a $1.1 million contract for the construction of the Thorn Hill Road Extension in the RIDC Thorn Hill Industrial Park in Cranberry Township to a new intersection at Freedom Road.

Timothy Dunlap was appointed president and chief operating officer of Centimark Corp.

S&T Bank opened a branch in Blairsville at Resort Plaza.

Tom Owens was promoted to food and beverage director of the St. Barnabas Communities by St. Barnabas Health System.

Maureen Kelly, a shareholder in law firm Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, was appointed chair of the Merit Selection Panel for the Selection and Appointment of a Full-Time Magistrate Judge.

Jay Feldstein, a founding partner of Feldstein Grinberg Stein & McKee, received the 2002 Professionalism Award from the Allegheny County Bar Association.

A Brooks Brothers store, under management by Paradies Shops, has opened a location in the Airmall at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Marble Slab Creamery opened its first Pittsburgh-area store in the Cranberry Commons Shopping Center. The store serves homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt and personalized ice cream cakes and pies.

TECHNOLOGY

MSA PASS is providing scrap yard loading and management software for CitiSteel USA Inc.’s steel production facility in Claymont, Del.

Blue Archer signed a contract with Strategic Sourcing Services to provide comprehensive enterprise, financial management and Web site software for its new venture.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Keystone Dedicated Logistics has contracted with Schaffner Manufacturing of Pittsburgh, Gutter Cap of Naperville, Ill., and Atomic Box of Aurora, Ohio, to provide third-party logistics services. It also contracted with Nifco Inc. of Pittsburgh to provide logistics support, freight payment and carrier management.
