John Qualls is used to setting his own high standards. He did it when he was growing up in a broken home, not living in the same place from week to week during his formative high school years. Qualls knew he could do better for himself and worked hard to get straight A’s by his senior year of high school and ready himself to join the U.S. Marine Corps.
He also knew it when he helped launch BlueLock LLC in 2006. Qualls had seen those around him struggle with their technological infrastructure. He saw companies with systems that were being underused and those with systems that were overwhelming the employees with a high level of functionality.
Qualls, BlueLock’s CEO, wanted to help people realize their potential and have an IT system that could support their efforts to serve customers and not hinder them. It wasn’t easy, however, as he had to use a lot of his own resources to get the company off the ground. But he knew what he was doing would work, and he was confident that the sacrifices he and his family were making would ultimately pay off.
Qualls has created a company that builds its products based on client demands versus building a product and then hoping there is interest in the market. The company’s unique approach to a scale-as-you-go solution is unique in the market and fills a void that has been seen on a national level.
