A book can be an effective way to get your message out to your peers, customers and employees

Being able to tell your story is critical in today’s fast-paced world. Media options fight for attention, making it imperative to identify new channels where you can stand out.
We launched Smart Business Books to provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to tell their stories in greater detail and share lessons learned. Over the past few years, we’ve helped numerous entrepreneurs and business leaders transform their ideas into books — including Office Max co-founder Michael Feuer and former Cleveland Clinic Board Chairman Mal Mixon.
What makes Smart Business Books different than traditional publishers is that we do all the work for you. We develop the story and outline, conduct interviews with the author and other contributors, and write the book, handling everything else through publication of an e-book and hardback editions.
What direction the book takes, however, is up to you. Your book could be filled with lessons you’ve learned, designed to help others so they don’t make the same mistakes you did, or you could share broader leadership concepts with your employees.
If employee and customer feedback is important, you can pepper the book with case studies. And, if your goal is to reach the broader business community, those same ideas can provide valuable how-to advice and insight others can adapt.
Many CEOs and entrepreneurs think about writing a book, but few ever get around to it. The No. 1 reason is a lack of time. But when someone else helps you shape your general ideas and guides you through the process, it doesn’t take as much time as you might think.
Whether your goal is to use a book as a business card for your organization or to further a cause and help raise awareness for something you believe in, we’ll work with you to identify what insights you can share.
