Innovative Systems Inc., a customer data management software company in Green Tree, knew it needed to raise the project management skills of its
employees. It found the answer close to home.
Hank Sobah, the company≠s director of quality assurance, caught wind of a
state grant program administered by Community College of Allegheny County≠s Workforce Training & Development program that customizes training for state
employers.
CCAC structured a customized, 12-hour course designed to expand the
understanding of project management principles across departments to help
improve the execution of project tasks. It recruited Karl Chapple, a 25-year veteran of project management, to do the training at Innovative Systems’
headquarters.
