For the last nine years, the Canton Chamber Regional Chamber of Commerce has been honoring local companies that have achieved an outstanding level of success over the past year. Nominees for the Business Excellence Award are judged on economic achievement, response to adversity, staying power and product innovation.
This year’s winners represent a diverse group of industries, from food service to health care, retail to construction. The winners also encompass a rich history, from The Belden Brick Co., which today employs a fifth generation of Beldens, to Taggarts Ice Cream, a longstanding local gathering place.
As unique as they are, their stories all serve as examples of outstanding entrepreneurship.
